Abstract
The article discusses the concept of «Russian Antiquity», and the author has in mind is not the assimilation of Russian culture, ancient heritage, but it is the era of Russian history. This conclusion is based on the writings of eminent philologist, teacher and translator E.A. Avdeenko. Clearly demonstrated the archetypes of Russian antiquity in the case of lyric poetry heroic Valentine Sorokin's novel Zoe Prokofiev «In due course» (1986) and the novel Vladilena Mashkovtseva «Golden flower-overcoming» (1990). In the Southern Urals in the Soviet times there was a layer of passionate heroic literature, and these authors wrote without regard to the dominant ideology in the Soviet era. Heroic pathos from these authors is pristine and artistically persuasive. At the center of their books – a warrior, defending the country from enemies. The key concept of the movement in favor of life – as opposed to the modern «necrorealism». Poet – carrier archetype – or rather, what the historian-archaeologist, reproduces historical images of the past.
