Abstract
This article is devoted to a review in historical retrospective of the process of formation of physiotherapy exercises in Russia as a separate scientific discipline and a method for the prevention and treatment of diseases. Special attention is paid to the empirical study of awareness of students about physiotherapy exercises. The obtained data allow to draw a conclusion on whether the trend is implemented on the introduction of physiotherapy exercises into the educational process.
