Abstract
The experience of carrying out the round-table discussion devoted to Mikhail Zoshchenko's writing is presented in this article. The round-table discussion is considered as one of the forms of individual work realizing the creative potential of the students. Such activities can be useful and interesting to students of non-language universities.
