Abstract
Among the ascetics of piety more and more mentions in our time the elder of Gethsemane skete, hieromonk Isidore (Kozin). Published biographical information of the elder are extremely controversial.     Могу сообщить, что Андрей Иванов Козин 1795 года рождения является сыном Ивана Афанасьева Козина и его законной супруги Натальи Яковлевой, уроженцев села Рождественский Майдан, что и подтверждается документами князя Грузинского
