Abstract
In article the problem of efficiency of quality management systems (QMS) of the enterprises is considered. It is specified that the assessment of efficiency of systems of quality management of the enterprises is the system, organizational problem which is important for ensuring competitiveness of the Russian enterprises and including studying of approaches as to an assessment of efficiency of management of the enterprises, and system effectiveness of quality of the company. Consideration by the management of the enterprise of the quality system, only as necessary factor of ensuring quality, along with other control systems, material resources and the personnel, causes isolation and an insufficient level of responsibility of the highest management for development and improvement of QMS. Without underestimating value of all principles of quality management, it is noted what exactly underestimation of value of the first head in creation and functioning of QMS is decisive factor low efficiency of many systems.
