AbstractThe theory of antonymy is of particular interest for literature studies and linguistics. It is connected with the fact, that antonymy occurs widely in individual styles of modern writers. A good example of it is the individual style of the famous American writer Dan Brown. The article is devoted to the description of textual antonyms found in the works by Dan Brown. This type of antonyms, unlike lexical and grammatical ones, is realized only within a coherent text.Keywords: antonymy of paraphrase, contrast, Dan Brown, implicit antonymy, substitutional antonymy, textual antonymy
