HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM MODERNIZATION: TRANSITION FROM KNOWLEGDE-ORIENTED TO COGNITIVE-DEVELOPING PARADIGM

Abstract
The author proceeds from the fact that formation of humanitarian thinking, all-cultural and professional competences are the earnest of effective coordination of all the subjects of the educational process. In the context of transition from knowledge-oriented to cognitive-developing paradigm in higher educational establishments it is necessary to create a skillfully organized educational environment, penetrated with the ideas of humanism, conservation and developing of life on the Earth.
