FEATURES OF THE APPLICATION OF MIMO TECHNOLOGY TO INCREASE THE CAPACITY OF WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORKS

Abstract
In the paper the possibilities of multi-element antenna systems to increase the data rate of the fourth generation networks are discussed. The expressions for calculation of peak data rate by using technologies SISO, SIMO, MISO and MIMO are presented. The estimation of data rate depending on the level of additive and interference noise is performed.
