Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of putinisms as one of V.V. Putin’s speech habits within the framework of intrinsic pragmalinguistics. The authors review linguistic peculiarities and basic functions of putinisms in their correlation with the speech strategies of speech behavior. Being viewed as speech markers of some intrinsic speech strategies, putinisms contribute to a complex analysis of Putin’s verbal identity and personality traits.
