Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the Russian position in the programme of international comparison. The general indicators of the world most prominent countries and Russia: GDP including PPP, the components of GDP of the world most prominent countries, the purchasing power parity, GDP of the world most prominent countries (including PPP) per head, the indicators of the standard of living are defined and analyzed.
