Abstract
In article the main indicators used for determination of quality of life of the population of the Tomsk region are considered. Definition is given to the term «sustainable development». The interrelation between quality of life of the population and the movement to a sustainable development is established. Positive tendencies of dynamics are revealed. The conclusion is drawn on growth and qualities of life and welfare of the population of the Tomsk region.
