Abstract
The article consists the problem of the use of Ukrainian traditional principles of the structure of the interior in modern conditions of housing design. The structural and functional features of Ukrainian folk housing in different regions of Ukraine, the development of design solutions in the design of modern living are analyzed. The influence of traditional Ukrainian culture in contemporary design premises.
