AbstractPaper is devoted to the study of “Little Tragedies” Pushkin’s as an artistic whole. Updated and analyzed through one of the motives dramatic cycle, representing the level of speech and action heroes of their attitude toward death in its Christian meaning. It is alleged that the memory of the death as an important Christian worldview values characters (Albert, Baron, Salieri, Dong Guan, Walsingham) oppose demonic own fearlessness, leading them to ruin.Keywords: artistic whole, conflict, demonic fearlessness, dramatic cycle, hero, Little Tragedies, memory of death, motif, Pushkin, theme
