Abstract
The article deals with the participation of the Kazanskiy infantry regiment in battles near Dresden in autumn 1813. During the battle of 25 October the warriors demonstrated composure and firmness in defense, as well as bravery in counter-attacks. Accurate interaction between different regiments of the home guard and effective artillery blows took place. The command demonstrated skillful management and personal courage.
