AbstractPomegranate juice is a good source of anthocyanins (delphinidin, pelargonidin and cyanine) and other phenolic compounds, including hydrolyzable tannins, such as punikalin, punikalagin and ellagic acid, and organic acids antioxidants. Unfortunately, up to 90% of pomegranate juice on the market today is a fake.
