OPTICAL PROPERTIES OF THE NICKEL NANO PARTICLES IN A TRANSPARENT MEDIA

Abstract
Absorptivity and scattering coefficient of the nickel nano particles in a transparent media °were calculated in the range of the wavelength 400-1200 nm. It was shown that both the radius of the metal particle, which corresponds to the maxima of absorptivity and scattering coefficient, and amplitudes of the maxima considerably depend on the initiating wavelength. This results allow to predict the laser irradiation sensitivity of the energetic materials.
