The paper presents the results of a study of multi-criteria decision problems found by the normalization criteria method (NCM). It is shown that the NCM-method finds solutions that depend on the constraints that do not form a Pareto-set of the problem. This property distinguishes the NCM-method in a number of multi-objective optimization methods. In solving of many real optimization problems (and economic as a particular) their multicriteriality is a characteristic feature of them. Therefore the above-noted property of solutions instability moves to the conclusion that the choice of solutions method for problems of this class should be done carefully.
