AbstractThe paper shows the possibility of using multiagent simulation for a qualitative description the regularity of biological systems. As an example examined populations of fish (predators - sharks and victims - small fish). The studied system is characterized by a certain set of parameters and rules, on the basis of which carry out the simulation. On the basis of a given model can be traced qualitative regularity occurring in such systems. Keywords: biological system, cellular automata, computer simulation, rules modeling
