Abstract
Experimental methods are widely used in science and in industry, but often with very different objectives. Typically, the main goal of research is to show the statistical significance of the effect of a certain factor on the dependent variable under study . In industrial experiment is usually the main goal is to extract the maximum amount of objective information about the influence of the studied factors on the production process using the smallest number of costly observations. One of the major constraints that are imposed in solving problems and constraints widely used method of experiment planning is the neglect of the cost of the experiment, the position of the equivalence tests. However, experiments in most cases, are not equal . The cost of the experiment is significantly affected by the order of alternation levels change factors. With a growing number of factors number of transformations increases substantially. This allows for choosing the optimal plan for the experiment to take into account the cost of changing levels of the factors that can reduce the time needed to process the results, and significantly reduce the cost of the experiments.
