AbstractThe article deals with the philanthropy of theVyatkainhabitants in the epoch the Napoleonic wars. One of the most important philanthropic actions was raising money for the benefit of people, pauperized during the wars of 1812-1814 years, wounded and families of the perished warriors. In the churches of theVyatkaprovince special mugs were established for raising money for the benefit of the pauperized dwellers.
